Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has reignited fears of military conflict on the continent, placing European defence capabilities firmly in the spotlight. Alongside supporting Ukraine, NATO and EU nations are stepping up their own defences — but is this enough to deter Russia?

With concerns over NATO’s resilience and the possibility of a U.S. disengagement, understanding the military strength of European allies is vital. This project aims to provide accessible data and detailed maps, enabling everyone to engage in this crucial debate about Europe’s security future.
