Model OSCE

Creator: FES

OSCE for a day

The aim of Model OSCE is to build confidence and strengthen dialogue between young women and men with different backgrounds and empower them by enhancing their knowledge and skills on OSCE principles, values and processes which they can apply and promote in their respective professional, political and civic engagement roles.

Model OSCE is a three-day event in Vienna, during which participants will represent an OSCE participating state and other relevant actors who work together to resolve a crisis. They will receive negotiation skills training from experienced professionals and learn about the work of the OSCE, its structures, and consensus-based decision-making.

Model OSCE is an initiative of the Office of the OSCE Secretary General, in partnership with the FES Regional Office for Cooperation and Peace in Europe.

The programme is part of the series of Model OSCE events that will be organized at national, sub-regional and regional levels to promote dialogue and mutual understanding among young people.
