The promotion of international cooperation and social development in a democratic spirit. The focus is on international understanding, a democratic state and a civil society commitment to peace. Science and research form the basis for this, as does the exchange of young experts. FES ROCPE aims in particular to (a) support academically excellent students and young academics from Germany and abroad who are particularly suitable according to their personality, taking into account the restrictions of § 40b BAO, (b) to initiate European dialogues in order to promote international understanding and deepen the partnership with European countries, and to coordinate the peace and security policy interests of the EU and the countries of Eastern Europe, (c) to promote art and culture and (d) to support scientific research, especially by young academics.
