Young people from across the OSCE area develop a vision of European security

Young experts from across the OSCE space gathered at the Hofburg in Vienna in May 2019. During an intensive two-day workshop this core group of experts debated a vision of security and cooperation in the OSCE region for 2030 and beyond. The young experts will have two more meetings this year, a seminar in Vienna in summer and a Youth Forum Bratislava in the fall, in order to further discuss and present their vision for security cooperation. The project is organised by the OSCE in partnership with FES ROCPE and aims at integrating the view of young people in the OSCE debates on the future of European security. The 2019 Slovak OSCE Chairmanship put youth engagement as a priority and supports this initiative, with the final document to be presented at the OSCE Ministerial Council in Bratislava in December 2019.
