Cooperative Security Initiative presented at the OSCE Ministerial Council in Bratislava on 5 December 2019

FES ROCPE in partnership with GLOBSEC and Slovak Chairmanship presented the Cooperative Security Initiative (CSI) at the OSCE Ministerial Council in Bratislava on 5 December 2019.

OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajčák, and OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger reflected on the 18 Questions for Safer Future, expressed support of the initiative and underlined the utmost necessity to cooperate. Since the launch of the CSI in June 2019, 18 CSI experts from across the OSCE area have held two working group meetings and assembled a collection of 18 questions designed to help restore stability as well as predictability to the European security landscape. The project will continue with a public outreach campaign in 2020.
